A dishwasher must be

After the separation from my girlfriend I had to move into a new apartment. So I had all the stress you had when an apartment had to be re-established. And that just in the time I had to write my exam paper. As a student I did not want to spend much money, but I did not want to do without the luxury of a dishwasher. My savings did not allow a big budget, but I was looking for a new, good device. When I searched the Internet, I came across the Beko DFL 1441 built-in dishwasher. Fits my used kitchen line. As he fit into my budget, I ordered him.  

The delivery

After a few days the delivery company rang with me and transported the almost 40 kilogram heavy device into my small kitchen. Since I could not afford a plumber, I hoped that I could manage the connection alone. I freed the dishwasher from its outer packaging first and had to realize that it was delivered with the necessary assembly parts and a proper and understandable usage instructions. With the dimensions of about 60x60x85cm he fitted at least perfectly into the gap provided for him under my work plate. The design was very simple. Classically white with a very simple program selection. This consists of a rotary knob with which one can choose from four programs: - Quick - Eco - Clean - Intensive The explanation of the respective program number is appropriately printed over the handle so that the usage instructions do not have to be used before each program start. I was already very satisfied, because with these four programs nothing could happen.  

The installation

The connection of the Beko DFL 1441 built-in dishwasher was very simple and understandable explained in the instruction. I managed to install the drain and inlet hose with a few hand tools and my measured repertoire of tools. My fears were unfounded. After the installation I started the first test run with the dishes of the last days to see if all connections were tight. Simply select the program and press the On / Off button. That was all. I first tested the fast program. Surprisingly, the dishwasher has managed to get my dishes of the last days, with the appropriate deposits, properly clean.  

Technical specifications

As a frugal student, I was, of course, looking for an energy-saving model that I found with the Beko DFL 1441 built-in dishwasher. Energy efficiency class A + and drying class A. Not bad for such a simple device. In the normal program, the Beko DFL 1441 built-in dishwasher consumes only 14 liters of water. If I consider that a simple dishwashing also needs so much water and I would have to do that every day, then this is really a good performance. Also in the volume, the dishwasher could convince me. He's a bit louder than the room's volume, but I can hear at least when he's done and I can clean it up again. Thanks to an end indicator, I can even see when the rinse is finished without having to turn on the light. The bright red dot is worth much. You can adjust the height of the cupboard so that larger cups can be placed in the upper area.  

Care of rinser

The screen of the dishwasher is very easy to remove and clean well under running water. In the floor is an opening for the rinse salt softening the water and maintaining the machine. The compartment for the tab and rinse aid is on the inside of the flap door. These can also be wiped clean with a cloth. In general, the rinse is very easy to clean and also indicates when the salt is empty, but a red lamp is in the control line, which starts to light up as soon as the sensor no longer senses salt.
