Finally a new kitchen

After spending many years working on a new kitchen, I was finally able to afford the model of my choice, but without electric appliances. This I wanted to choose and buy myself, because I was not convinced of devices, which were supplied by the installer. Probably because I have had bad experiences with it. So I was looking for a dishwasher that could convince me. I found the Bauknecht GSU 81454 substructure dishwasher. He did not only fit into my price concept, but also satisfied all my requirements according to the description.

A few days later the 43 kilogram of colossus was delivered to my home. All the necessary parts for the installation were included in the scope of delivery, as well as instructions for use, which I would have been able to do without, because I already had a lot of dishwasher and the connection I left the specialists. However, he had a very special advantage for me. The design. Not only the energy efficiency class A ++ is up to date, but also its programs. With the Bauknecht GSU 81454 built-in dishwasher I can select from the control panel of six dishwashing programs. In addition, I have the possibility to rinse the dishes only or let them dry. In addition, the dishwasher in the standard program sometimes consumes only 6 liters per rinse. This is due to its loading detection. With this, the rinse in the corresponding sensor program can previously analyze how fully loaded it is and thus also regulate the consumption of water and the temperature of the selected program. In addition, he indicates a remaining time on his display. This way I know exactly how long my dishwasher still runs.  

Long-term exposure

Even if the technical data initially sound impressive, I wanted to convince myself in a longer time of its achievement. I was not disappointed. The Bauknecht GSU 81454 built-in dishwasher has been a very good service for over a year now and has not lost any of its performance. Very interesting I find the front part of the cutlery baskets, so that the cutlery can be washed just as regularly as everything else. For the first time I now have a dishwasher, which is even aimed at hygienic standards. He owns a steam technology. It not only serves to dry the dishes, but also contributes to germ-free cleaning. Thanks to the steam, it is possible to kill potential pathogens and bacteria which might have found an optimal breeding ground on worn boards or surfaces. The Steam option can also be used outside of a regular dishwashing program and help to make long unused dishes once again properly germ-free. Also very pleasant is the volume of the device. As promised in the display, the device is really whisper quiet, and when I go to bed in the evening and the dishwasher is still running, I can not claim that I would hear it.  

Cleaning and maintenance

In this regard, I have discovered no disadvantages. All parts can be easily removed from the dishwasher and cleaned. In addition, the machine is also protected by the use of steam during the rinse cycle. Thanks to the clear display, I can always see when salt or rinse aid needs to be replenished.
