As the father of three children and a very good cook as a woman, I decided that we should have a dishwasher as well. My wife goes to dinner every evening after the meal and comes to rest at a late hour. So we looked for a dishwasher in our budget. We found the Bomann GSP 776 Unterbau dishwasher. 

The delivery

Since we were looking for a dishwasher, which can also be free, our choice was initially well received, but we did not want to make too much hopes for this price and expect too much from this device. When he was delivered some days after the order, we were glad that we had already chosen a place for him. At just under 36 kilos it was not a light weight, but no dishwasher weighs less. The scope of delivery included a usage manual with the corresponding accessories for the connection. Visually, he was just as we had imagined him. Narrow 45cm in classic white. The program line can be operated via buttons and is simple. Under each button and on each line is the corresponding meaning or the program. In our eyes very easy.  

Mounting

Even without much knowledge, mounting or connecting the dishwasher was not a major problem. It was very easy to assign the correct connections to the correct hoses. Not least thanks to the clear usage instructions. Within twenty minutes our dishwasher stood on the spot.  

The first evening

Of course, we first filled the dishwasher with salt and rinse aid, so that it is optimally equipped. Since our children were with the grandparents that evening, we had only dishes of two people. As the Bomann GSP 776 substructure dishwasher offers six programs, including a fast program, we wanted to test this at the same time. Our dishes were clean and the wash went also very fast, it lasted only 30 minutes, but the dishwashers could not dissolve well. So we tested it again, with only half a tab. That went without problems.  

General

The technical data could not give me much information, but I understood very quickly that the Bomann GSP 776 built-in dishwasher did not consume much energy and water, which would probably be very good for our household in the long run. Furthermore, it has not only the displays which signalize when a program is finished, but also those which indicate whether the rinse aid and the salt have to be refilled. Best of all, we found the delay function. Thanks to this function, we were able to adjust when the rinse should start its wash cycle. The choice is between 3, 6, 9 and 12 hours. This was very beneficial for us. Instead of cleaning up the dishwashers in the evening, because my wife did not like it when work was not done, the rinse could start at night, and in the morning, when my wife and the children got up, they could all empty the rinse. This meant a great time-saving for all.  

The continuous load

Now, after four weeks of continuous rinsing, we have the turn, which program best to which dirt the dishes. Our children have also found the fun of choosing the dishwasher and turning it on. So it is very easy. Just like the cleaning. All parts to be cleaned are easy to remove and easy to clean. Also, the volume is more than adequate. Only one drawback is our purchase, which we have to be responsible, however. The capacity of the dishwasher is quite small for a family of five. After every meal he has to be hired, because otherwise the dinner dish flood no longer fits in and we have to wash off again by hand.
