When it came to the procurement of new tires, it should be year-round. After a comparison of all-season tires, my choice has fallen on the PIRELLI - SCORPION VERDE all-season tire. Why it was the tire of Pirelli and what experiences I have made in the last months with the whole-year tire, can be learned in this experience report.

Of course, the Praxistest still stood out, but also here the all-season tires convinced me completely.

The external rolling noise comes from the year-round tire from Pirelli to a volume of 71 dB. The loudness with 71 dB corresponds to the class 2. If you look at the tire, the profile is particularly noticeable. This profile is very good for a water drain during the Pirelli all-season tire. The tire is color-coded in a black design. Due to its design and the technical details, the PIRELLI - SCORPION VERDE is suitable all year round, especially for crossover vehicles and SUVs. Experiences with the Pirelli year-round tire

The first ride with the PIRELLI - SCORPION VERDE all - season tire really impressed me. I felt in the steering wheel, straight in the corners, that the car is much easier to control. There are also no differences in whether the road is wet or dry. With snow I have now no experience with regard to the driving behavior can collect. For this I have the year-round tires of Pirelli still too short. But I do not assume any major differences. It is also worth mentioning the good adhesion of all-season tires. Especially during heavy rain, one still has a very good liability with the all-season tires of Pirelli. By the better driving behavior, I have already been able to establish that the fuel consumption has decreased. From my point of view, this has two advantages: one saves money at the dispensing pump and the other, it is a good contribution to environmental protection, since fewer emmissions are created. Even if I have the Pirelli year-old tire only for a few months in use, I regularly check for possible wear. So far I have not noticed any wear. Here, the manufacturer's advertising statement seems to be true, even after a long shelf life of all-year tires.  

Easy to mount

Directly after the delivery of the year-round tires of Pirelli, I have also mounted these. Because of their dimensions and the weight, the tires were very good to handle. The installation of the PIRELLI - SCORPION VERDE was therefore easy and fast all year round. Here, too, the all-season tires convinced me completely.  

Small deficiency in all-season tires

Especially when driving on a wet road surface, I have a small deficiency in the PIRELLI - SCORPION VERDE year - round tires. This deficiency affects the volume, specifically the rolling noise during all-year driving. So one hears this clearly. In this case, the manufacturer would have to re-adjust the rolling noise. If the rolling noise increases already in the rain, this should also be the case with ice and snow.

Conclusion

Conclusion guy The all-season tire from Pirelli is robust. This is the result of its workmanship, but also by its profile, which allows a quick drainage from the water during the whole year. The all-season tire also impresses with its very good impact on the driving behavior. This is clearly noticeable when turning in corners. Due to the very good driving behavior of the Pirelli all-season tire, this is also noticeable in fuel consumption. The fuel consumption has decreased by the whole-year tires. The lower fuel consumption is, of course, also a very good thing for the environment. So far, I have not been able to detect any wear on the PIRELLI - SCORPION VERDE all - season tire. Also the all-season tires from Pirelli are very easy to mount. After several months of use and so much rain, I also have a disadvantage with the PIRELLI - SCORPION VERDE year - round tire. Thus, this disadvantage relates to the rolling noise in a wet road surface. Because here I can tell that here the rolling noise is louder in a wet road. To emphasize the Pirelli year-round is still the purchase price, the purchase price is very favorable. All in all, I can only recommend the PIRELLI - SCORPION VERDE year - round tire.
