Regarding the look, the Actionpro X7 is similar to the GoPro cameras. Although the design reminds very much of the competition, the helmet camera appeals very well. The Helmkamera offers a number of advantages due to the special underwater mode, the built-in display and also the large scope of delivery. This includes the very good picture quality, which is in no way inferior to other cameras. In addition to the housing and the camera, the adapter cable for the external microphones, intermediate joints and the tripod adapter are also available. Since other manufacturers often save on cables, the Actionpro X7 has a transmission and charging cable.The scope of delivery includes an underwater housing and without problems it keeps up to the water depth of sixty meters. In the case of other camera models, the corresponding mode, which responds to changed light conditions under water, is missing here. In the X7, however, there is the own diving mode, which fixes the problem. The time has passed when color filters have been inserted into the case. Colors are created which have a natural effect and the result can be seen.  

Slowmotion and time-lapse are possible

Many cameras often have the problem that a sufficient number of images can be taken per second, so that a slow-motion can be produced, but the processing usually has to be done on the home computer. In the case of the X7 helmet camera, this is done by the camera itself. If the device is set so that more than 100 pictures are recorded per second, then movies are stored automatically in slow motion. The result can be viewed directly by the integrated display. Conversely, this also works in a timed manner. Selectable in the settings is the picture per minute and also the picture per second. On the camera, finished video files can be watched when the recording has finished. It would probably hardly be easier, as with the X7.  

The integrated WLAN and the control via app

The built-in WLAN can also be missing in the helmet camera. Without problems this works and the video processing time is saved. The camera is switched on, the WLAN is activated and already there is a computer access to all photo and video files. Only the tax by smartphone must be dispensed, at least does not exist for Android users yet an app. However, if you're an Apple user, you can start full.  

The quality of the recording and the recharge time

With the up to 120 images per second, HD recordings and with up to 60 images per second, the Full HD recordings leave nothing to be desired. Without problems, normal videos or even in post-processing work with the time-lapse effect and they are detail-rich. The light sensitivity, the colors and the picture quality can be convincing and also the viewing angle of 90 to 152 degrees leaves nothing to be desired. Through the flat housing function playing above and underwater shots. Both can be accomplished by the Actionpro with best results. Apart from the satisfactory battery life, it is also possible with the helmet camera that 12 megapixel photos are shot. This makes the helmet camera the right all-rounder. Thanks to the integrated display, there are no problems when perfectly aligned and of course simple photos are shot.
