For both Christmas, but also as party jewelery, I have searched for a string of lights. Ultimately, my choice is the Ricelight 240 light string from Kaemingk. The reason why this Kaemingk lighting chain has been established can be seen in this report.  

That is why it was the Kaemingk light chain

When buying a light string I have several prerequisites set. For me, the most important number of lights was important to me. You should also be able to use the light chain not only indoors, but also outdoors. However, I also had a long life and energy consumption. Ultimately, these prerequisites fully met the Ricelight 240 light chain from Kaemingk. The low energy consumption with this lighting chain and the associated savings have convinced me. That is why I decided to go for this lighting chain.  

Technical details of LED light chain

The frames of the Kaemingk LED light chain are made of solid plastic. The lights were completely based on LED technology. The LEDs come to 0.048 watts. In total, the lighting chain consists of 240 LED lights, which means a length of 21 m. The LED lights are located at a distance of 7.5 cm from the Ricelight 240 LED. The light chain is held in a warm light. A 230 V power supply is required to operate the fairy lights. The light string is equipped with a transformer of 24 volts, which corresponds to 13 VA. The string of lights is CE-tested, thus guaranteeing the safety of the Ricelight 240 lighting chain. What is important in view of the long service life of the lighting chain is not insignificant. The Ricelight 240 light chain is colored in a green design.  

Easy handling of the light chain

Just because of the high number of LED lights in the light chain, I had a lot of concern about the handling. But the handling of the light chain is very simple. From the knot as you know otherwise from string lights, has not yet happened with the Ricelight 240 lights. Due to the distance of 7.5 cm between the individual LED lights, the assembly of the light string is also very simple. However, the LED light chain is also characterized by its robustness and its long service life. This is indicated by the manufacturer with at least 50,000 hours. Accordingly, it is important to emphasize the environmental friendliness of the lighting chain by saving energy as well as the long service life of the lighting chain.  

Can also be used outdoors

Due to the processing of the light chain of Ricelight 240, this can also be used very well in the outdoor area. So far, I used the outdoor light chain and there was damage or wear.  

Small disadvantage with the light chain

The Ricelight 24 string of lights is a so-called cable-bound lighting chain. As already mentioned under the technical information, a power connection is necessary for operation. In this connection I can make a small disadvantage, the connection cable at the connector is relatively short. Here one has to help with a corresponding extension cable.This is also the only, small disadvantage that I could with the use of the light chain.
