A new seal for the rims was needed, looking for a suitable product, I decided to use the A1 Speed Wax Plus 3 rim seal. What I have experienced with this product in rim sealing, you can see this experience report.

A very good effect, a light order and not so expensive in the purchase price, these were three criteria that I have placed on the rim seal. These criteria were best met by the A1 Speed Wax Plus 3 rim seal. Not only the product data of the manufacturer, but also the awards and the purchase recommendations convinced me.

The A1 Speed Wax Plus 3 rim sealant is a liquid rim seal. It should not only keep the color depth of the rims, but also provide a shine and a protection from weather influences. The rim seal has been awarded by GTU, ACE and, ultimately, by AutoClassical as a test winner in the context of a comparison. The dimensions of the product package are 8.2 x 7.4 x 19.7 cm, with a weight of 499 grams. The liquid content of the rim seal comes to 500 ml and is filled in a handy plastic bottle. The rim seal is supplied together with a special sponge.

Of course not unimportant when purchasing the rim seal, the question is which varnish is suitable. But here the A1 Speed Wax Plus 3 rim seal is convincing, as they are suitable for both normal and metallic paints.  

Handling the rim seal

The package of the A1 Speed Wax Plus 3 rim seal and the special sponge, the application of the rim seal is no problem and goes quickly from the hand. After use, the special sponge can be cleaned well, so you can use it permanently.  

Problems with the rim seal

According to the manufacturer, one has to renew the A1 Speed Wax Plus 3 rim seal only two to three times a year. Unfortunately, I can not confirm this statement, which after three to four weeks I was able to recognize after the first order of the rim seal, already first wear. Overall, the rim seal is very good, just to make it work, you have to apply it often more often.
