A composter is the cheap type in the garden from plant remnants quite comfortably and without much odor nuising new earth. This new soil also serves as a rich fertilizer for the new plants which grow in the garden. Thus, the composter requires neither new soil nor new fertilizer. A really pleasant effect. Compared to a conventional compost heap, such a device plays great advantages. Due to the closed shape it is avoided that rodents and other animals nest in the compost. Delivery and delivery

The composter without base plate is included in the delivery. This can be purchased as an option. The device comes partially disassembled. With just a few steps, the individual parts can be easily assembled and placed in a suitable place.  

First use

Before the first use the appropriate place in the garden must be found. For such a composter, a dry place protected from direct sunlight is useful. In the direct sunlight, such a high heat development can occur so that there is a risk of fire. If you place the composter without a floor plate, which is generally recommended, the underlying surface of plants will be destroyed. Therefore, it is best to use a lawn surface to avoid unnecessary damage. When you first fill it, it can be useful to purchase a compost starter kit in the DIY store. This is how the first important bacteria are activated and the composting is getting really strong.  

Durable use

In daily use, it should be noted that the filled plant residues must not be too dry. The plants need some moisture to start the decomposition process. Alternatively, kitchen waste such as trays or whole fruit pieces can also be added to the composter. Meat and already cooked dishes should however not in the device, these can attract animals. This can ultimately lead to the destruction of the device when the animals try to open the composter to get the meat pieces.  

Removal of finished soil

In the composter the filled plants migrate more and more downwards. New ones are placed on top, which cause the other plants to compress. In the end, compost will be collected at the bottom of the composter. This earth can then be removed through the door on the lower side of one of the surfaces. This should be done regularly. For the earth to be used well, it must be freed from larger non-decomposed pieces as well as stones. Already the earth can be given to other plants and flower boxes.  

Care and cleaning

The composter does not need much care. If it is too dirty, the unit can be easily cleaned with a water hose and, if necessary, with a mild detergent. Then he is fully operational again. In the interior, however, cleaning and disinfecting agents should not be used. These can stop the process of disintegration.
