The poor student without television

I as a student unfortunately could not afford a TV connection and decided to equip me with the Opticum LION HD 265 DVB-T receiver. I had informed in advance, whether DVB-T would make sense with me and after I learned that also my neighbor used the Opticum LION HD 265 DVB-T receiver, I could probably do nothing wrong.  

The price

Since I had a budget house, the price of the Opticum LION HD 265 DVB-T receiver came very well and I could, for my intended hundred euro, directly the appropriate antenna dazubestellen. This service I found very positive. So I waited for my delivery.  

The first impression

The Opticum LION HD 265 DVB-T receiver was delivered with the right antenna as ordered. Of course, the instructions for use were also included. As I had to realize, this was also necessary. The remote control of my TV was universal, so I could use it also with the Opticum LION HD 265 DVB-T receiver. I was particularly pleased with the USB port on the front. This spared me that I had to buy a stereo so I can play music.  

The furniture

The connection of the Opticum LION HD 265 DVB-T receiver was quickly done and very clear. For the transmitter search and the alignment of the antenna, however, I needed the instruction manual. Even if this worked without problems, I would not be able to remember the sequences and was glad that a statement was there.  

The use

I was impressed that the Opticum LION HD 265 DVB-T receiver worked so well. Sometimes it has small hanger, then nothing goes and I have the Opticum LION HD 265 DVB-T receiver off. When he restarts, he goes back without problems. Until now, it happened to me only once that all stored and found stations were lost after the restart. So I had to restart the transmitter search again. However, the Opticum LION HD 265 DVB-T receiver had fulfilled its purpose and always prepared me good TV. Just as well he has coped if I have removed the Scartanschluss to be able to see DVD. Also the picture quality, which is also dependent on the reception, was good. I had not expected a razor sharp picture and had no problem with it, if it was a little out of focus. The USB port is very affordable. The playing of music and even of videos was easily possible and afterwards all stored positions were still there.
