The Metabo Domestic Waterworks HWW 4500/25 is a powerful device. Only high-quality materials were used with this device. Therefore, the domestic water supply is regarded as particularly high-quality. The housing and the drive shaft are made of a solid stainless steel. In total, Metabo's water supply system has two stable feet.

The advantages of household water

The modern house water works mainly to promote and transport water from streams, cisterns or ground water. Optionally the water can be used for garden irrigation, as drinking water or for the toilet flushing. This can save a lot of money in the long run. In addition to the financial advantages, depending on the use, there are also some ecological aspects that favor a purchase. Particularly when drinking water is used, some criteria must be met. Drinking water is always subject to various regulations, which must be compulsorily observed. Otherwise, health problems may occur. For this purpose, compliance with the regulations for the fixed installation of the domestic water supply is very important. It must be constantly checked. The house water supply has a weight of 17 kg and is also suitable for short or temporary applications, if required.  

Properties of domestic waterworks

The household water system 4500/25 has a long service life when used properly. It is therefore ideally suited for continuous use. This is mainly due to the strong condensate motor. According to the manufacturer, almost no maintenance is required. In addition, the motor is equipped with overload protection. This overload protection protects the device against overheating under high load. The sturdy housing is made of stainless steel. The solid mechanical seal system also increases the life of the house water system.  

Easy handling

The household water supply is connected to the traditional home network and is operated with 220 V. This achieves an output of approximately 1,300 watts. The maximum output of the domestic waterworks is 4,500 l / h. This is a very good value compared to other models. The boiler has around 24 liters of space. These can be fed through an additional system at any time before use. The boiler serves to maintain a constant pressure inside the waterworks. The pressure is a maximum of 4.8 bar. The product therefore offers a high suction head of approx. 8 m. Once the water is in the pump, it can be transported up to 48 m. This is the so-called delivery height.  

A modern technique

The house water supply has a pressure and suction connection. These are made by an internal thread with an inch diameter. The device can be used simultaneously for several sprinklers for irrigation. A great advantage is that the drain screw can also be opened without a tool. The drain plug can then be operated after a longer service life. The ease of handling is also very advantageous when emptying to frost protection.  

A secure system

A special check valve prevents the water from flowing back. In addition, a suitable threaded sealing strip is included. With the aid of the tape, the connections can be fixed in a drop-tight manner. The unit operates at up to 85 dB. The domestic water supply is therefore easy to hear and therefore is only suitable for use in densely populated areas or in small gardens. The house waterworks has a cable length of 1.5 m. This ensures flexibility. Overall, the device measures 64 x 52.6 x 36 cm.
