The Metabo jigsaw is delivered in a tool box. This case contains the jigsaw, a hex wrench, three saw blades, the tear-out protection, the gripping protection and the suction connection for the external suction. With a nominal input power of 610 watts the motor power is indicated. The jigsaw offers a quick-change system for the Metabo Quick saw blade, so that the tool-free saw blade change functions. The technical equipment also includes the switchable blowing device, so that there is a better view on the cut mark. The machine is equipped with the adjustable pendulum stroke and with the Vario-Constamatic.The Matebo Jigsaw is designed for the design of a rod motor with Knauf. The channel for dust extraction is particularly striking. This creates the impression of a hand guard or a handle. The Metabo jigsaw is fitted with anti-slip plastic covers. All the controls were clearly arranged in the jigsaw and the inscriptions are clearly legible. In the middle, the engine housing is tapered, but it can leave a robust impression. The Metabo jigsaw can immediately be placed in the hand when it is removed from the case. According to the manufacturer, the net weight is 2.2 kilograms and this is well distributed. The knob has been shaped slightly differently than usual, but this can also be easily grasped and thus a pleasant working is promised. The processing from the jigsaw looks generally very reasonable. Even when looking closer, no sharp edges are detected. All the moving parts of the jigsaw work immediately. The saw blade support roller is a technical feature because it is particularly low. The idle stroke number was indicated with 1000 to 3000 stroke movements at the jigsaw per minute. The number of strokes can be preset via a setting wheel. The straight cut system provides straight cuts through the usable fin. The area in front of the machine is free of cut dust with the switchable blower. The Vario-Constamatic ensures the same lifting speed. Due to the low-lying blade support roller, the blade can be guided very accurately.
