The automatic irrigation unit is supplied with the machine. This is delivered in a sturdy carton. Batteries are also required. These should be ordered at the same time. This is the only way to make the irrigation machine work. The machine can then be connected to the Kärcher tubing system. However, it is also possible to connect to other systems because the openings and the threads of this system are flexible.

Kärcher made this machine from hard plastic. This is the ideal material. It is heat resistant and stable in shape. Furthermore, the color was chosen black so that weathering due to exposure to the sun can only be made very difficult. The keys of the machine are also made of plastic, but they are gray. Kärcher provides a manufacturing guarantee on the device and thus guarantees quality.  

Necessary accessories

The most important accessory for the machine is the hose system. As already described, this is not included in the scope of supply. It is therefore necessary to decide whether it is a sprinkler system. Alternatively, it is also possible to use hoses with hole patterns. These hoses are in any case the cheaper option. With the hoses, it is also possible to reach remote places in the garden well. Furthermore, corners can also be placed. However, the hoses should not get kinks, otherwise the water can not flow away unhindered.

The operation of this watering device is just as you would expect from a Kärcher device. All operations are on the front and easy to reach. We could in the test the settings even without an instruction manual because the guidance of the menu is completely self-explanatory. Further, the operating member can be easily detached from the basic member for setting. Thus, it can also be prepared decentrally simply while sitting and then simply put back into operation.  

Maintenance and Care

In winter, the Kärcher watering system should always be dismantled. It is important that the device is emptied completely. This protects it from frost damage. The machine is also suitable for rain water. However, a filter should be connected upstream so that no particles enter the machine and possibly damage it. Further care is not necessary for the Kärcher. It's a working bull.
