For the office I have searched for a new laser printer with as many functions as possible. Ultimately, I chose the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw laser printer. This model I have now for a few months in the use, which experiences I have made with it, can be taken from this experience report.

The new laser printer should have as many functions as printing, scanning and, if possible, copying. However, this is not enough, even a possibility of an internet connection should be available. Not to be neglected, the new laser printer should not be too big or too heavy. The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw laser printer has fallen short of these requirements when choosing a suitable model. All of these functions have been fulfilled by the laser printer. Especially since the laser printer also impressed me with the printing speed and the extensive accessories. Also the purchase price was not to be neglected.

The HP LaserJet laser printer is very solid. The HP Laserjet comes at a power of 365 watts. The HP Laserjet receives the energy via a 230 volt connection. The screen area of the HP laser printer is 3 inches. It is equipped with a memory of 256 MB RAM. It can also be connected to the Internet, this HP Laserjet is equipped with WLAN. This is the 802.11bgn model. Laser printer speed is 18 pages per minute. The printing quality is 600 x 600 dpi and the scanning quality at 1200 x 1200 dpi. The HP Laser Printer is equipped with three ports. This is a USB 2.0 port, an Ethernet port, and a wireless port. The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw laser printer has dimensions of 41.7 x 42 x 32.2 cm, with a weight of 16 kg. The HP LaserJet is color-coded in a light gray color. It comes with various accessories. The HP LaserJet includes an instruction manual, a power cable, a USB cable and software. This software includes a driver as well as a Read IRIS CD-ROM. The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw laser printer is immediately ready for operation, and a toner cartridge is also included. This toner cartridge is for 1500 pages in black and 700 pages in color.

The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw laser printer is very easy to use. As already mentioned in the technical data, this is provided with a small screen. The complete control such as the setting of the pressure settings can only be made via the screen. The HP Laser Printer is equipped with a very clear menu.

As already mentioned, the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw laser printer is equipped with numerous functions such as printing and scanning. And just with the scanning function there is a shortage. Thus the scanning result is always oblique, even if the sheet is still just inserted into the laser printer. Also an update could not improve the scan result. Scanning works with the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw laser printer, but unfortunately the result is not as appealing. A solution to this shortcoming has not yet been found.
