We have searched for a good and powerful fire extinguisher, namely a foam extinguisher. When buying, we chose the Gloria SD 6 fire extinguisher. The reasons for the Fire Extinguisher of Gloria and what experiences have been made can be seen in this report.

As already mentioned, we have a fire extinguisher. We chose a foam extinguisher, also because we wanted a special fire extinguisher for liquid fires. Also because we still have an oil heater. When buying, we rely on recommendations, but also on the results from a comparison. The Gloria SD 6 fire extinguisher has always been read. Ultimately, we have decided on the basis of these recommendations, also for the fire extinguisher of Gloria. Although the Gloria was not the favored model at the price, the quality in the processing, but also the strong fire performance convinced us.

It complies with DIN EN 3 with a rating of 21 A and 183 B for fire fighting. It comes with six extinguishing agent units and is equipped with a quantity of six liters of foam. With the foam you can inject the Gloria SD 6 fire extinguisher for a duration of 30 seconds. It comes at a sprint of 4 m. The dimensions of the fire extinguisher are 55.7 cm in height, 27.5 cm in width and ultimately 16.2 in depth. The Gloria fire extinguisher is color-coded in a red design. This is a protective lacquer, which also allows the fire extinguisher to be used outdoors. It comes at a weight of 10.5 kg.

The Gloria fire extinguisher is suitable for combating fires with solids, but also with liquid substances. Thus, the fire extinguisher can be used very widely with foaming agents.

The handling of the Gloria SD 6 fire extinguisher is very easy. This is thanks to the handle and the weight. The fire extinguisher is equipped with a handle that allows transport. With a weight of 10.5 kg the transport is very simple.  

Operation of fire extinguisher from Gloria

So far, we have not had to use the fire extinguisher of Gloria, which hopefully remains so. Of course, we have familiarized ourselves with the operation. Here was a great advantage the print on the fire extinguisher. This information can be taken very quickly and simply the operation. As already mentioned, the fire extinguisher is equipped with a carrying handle which is also used for operation at the same time.
