A new and easy-to-use phone for the mother was needed. We decided to purchase the Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon. What experiences we and my mother have made with the Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon, can be seen in this report.

The Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon is equipped with a telephone book, which has a capacity of 120 entries. In addition, the Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon can set 10 telephone numbers in the speed dial. The design of the Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon is completely anthracite in color. The dimensions of the Gigaset senior telephone are 16 x 22 x 9 cm, with a weight of 322 grams. To emphasize the Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon is still the energy consumption, so this is equipped with an ECO mode. This means that the Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon reduces the wireless performance by up to 80 percent in standby mode. This allows the Gigaset E310 senior telephone to save energy and, ultimately, money.  

Operation of the Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon

The operation of the Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon is very simple. Thus, both the installation and the operation are quick and also without instruction. The display shows all selected keys, so you can always see what you have chosen. The display on the Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon has yet another advantage, so it is equipped with a call indicator. If the caller is stored in the telephone book, both the name and the telephone number are immediately displayed on the Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon. The Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon also features the hands-free function and the compatibility with regard to hearing aids.  

Handling of the senior telephone

Like the operation with the Gigaset E310 senior telephone, the handling is not an unimportant factor. The dimensions and weight have already been mentioned for the Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon. The Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon is certainly not a small phone with its dimensions. However, due to the large keys and the display, this is not possible any differently and facilitates a simple operation. Despite the size, the Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon is very well in the hand. With 322 grams, the Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon is not so difficult and contributes also to a good handling.  

Lack of Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon

A deficiency in the Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon by my mother then still was noted and this concerns, that lack, the voice quality. Depending on the distance to the base station, the Gigaset E310 Seniortelefon already significantly reduces the voice quality. This is a disadvantage because it limits the use area a bit.
