The Agfeo DECT22 is an analog cordless telephone, which can be characterized with the very high endurance. This is due to the fact that the power supply is simply reduced, or the device switches off. This is an eco-mode, which has been implemented in the expanded form of the telephone. On the basis of the distance between the handset and the base station, the transmission power is regulated and thus the minimum of radio traffic prevails. When not in use, the radio connection is even completely deactivated. This not only saves electricity, but also reduces electrosmog. The device has few, but useful functions. The basic equipment of the device is generally positive, although the pure scope of functions is still limited. On gadgets is dispensed with the telephone and thus there is for example no Babyphone mode and there are also some practical features not as for example call perlists. However, the scope of the standard functions can be convincing. After all, 200 different phonebook entries are accepted by the memory and there are no less than 35 ring melodies. Everyone is thus well-served with the device if he can not hear the frequently occurring ten standard ringtones. In the call list, the last thirty calls can be listed and in addition there are icons for call acceptance, callback done or new. It is a clever detail, which is not offered by many telephones.

The sum fits more like a super class telephone, after the Agfeo telephone also does not have an integrated answering machine. If the purchase price drops, however, a purchase may be worthwhile.

The device does not offer many functions, but the operation is relatively simple and there are helpful settings. The case color is black and the features include the call number display, Eco DECT, telephone book, handsfree and the handset volume is adjustable. The equipment of the device is the color display, the illuminated display and the illuminated keyboard. The range of the phone is in rooms fifty meters and outside 300 meters. Up to 200 entries are possible with the call number memory and the keypad is equipped with the keypad lock and the navigation key.
