I came up with the idea that the door to the garden should get a dog door. For this reason, I ordered the PetSafe staywell 640 dog door online.
The first impression
even if the delivery went very quickly from States, so was still nothing for me. I wanted to concentrate only on the product. At first glance, the dog door was very nicely packed and in addition to the parts that were necessary for the installation of the valve, the packaging contained even a detailed instruction manual. Quality and workmanship of the matériels were not to complain about. Then I could do me in the installation.
The Assembly
what has convinced me very was the building instructions for the PetSafe staywell 640 dog flap. It was even in detail how I could customize the dog door on the right size of my dog before installing in a disaster would end. To set the bottom edge of the PetSafe staywell 640 dog flap, I so took the height from the ground to the belly. I had to then draw it on my door.
With a little skill, it is easy to cut out the hole with a jigsaw. It is then only a screwdriver needed. The aluminium frame is fitted and screwed. Very laborious, we tried to move our dog through the flap, but he risked not. Only by chance, I overheard that he used them only in the night or if he had to go to the bathroom very strongly. And easily up to the present day.
Conclusion
PetSafe staywell 640 dog flap was a very good investment and all, but especially our dog is us a big help. Even if the installation is very delicate and slightly takes time, get very good quality, which is also in the long-term test with the PetSafe staywell 640 dog flap.
