As mentioned briefly, we have a large pond, so powerful this had to be. So the water flow had to be high. Of course, the pond pump should also be very well processed, so that it is as long as possible. Ultimately it was for those reasons the Osaga 20000 ECO pond pump. The Osaga model also impressed us with its compact dimensions. Not to be neglected however were the follow-up costs by the energy consumption of the Teichpumpe. Here, it convinced by low energy consumption and correspondingly low follow-up costs. The purchase price also played a part in the purchase of the pond pump, but the pond pump could also be used in comparison with other models.  

Technical data for the Osaga 20000 ECO pond pump

Very robust made of the material plastic is the pond pump from Osaga. The Osaga 20000 ECO pond pump requires a 230 Volt power connection. The pond pump is equipped with a connecting cable for connection. The motor of the pond pump comes at a power of 220 watts. The pond pump is equipped with an ECO function, which means the energy consumption is correspondingly low. The pond pump reaches a maximum discharge height of 6.2 m. It can pump up to 333 liters of water per minute and up to 20,000 liters of water per hour. This makes the Osaga 20000 ECO pond pump very suitable for a large pond. The Osaga pond pump is equipped with an inlet for the inlet and a connection for the outlet. The connection sizes in each case are 50.8 mm. To protect the pond pump, it is completely enclosed with a filter basket. This filter basket protects against dirt particles with a size of up to 6 mm. The Osaga 20000 ECO pond pump is color-coded in a gray design. It comes to a size of 30 x 25 x 30 cm, with a weight of 1.4 kg.  

Handling the pond pump from Osaga

The pond pump from Osaga is kept in a very compact design. This is of course noticeable both in terms of dimensions as well as in weight. With a weight of 1.4 kg the pond pump is very light. Accordingly, the handling is also good, also in connection with the installation of the pond pump. Due to the two connections, this is quick to use.  

Operation of the Osaga pond pump

The operation is no problem with the Osaga 20000 ECO pond pump. All you have to do is plug it into the pond, turn on the power and the pond pump is working. The flow rate of the pond pump can be controlled. Only what you have to make depending on the water condition at the pond is the cleaning from the filter basket. However, this is also no effort, due to the ease of the pond pump.  

Lack of the Osaga 20000 ECO pond pump

The Osaga 20000 ECO pond pump is equipped with a filter basket and protects against particles with up to 6 mm. However, this is a problem with the pond pump, since the filter basket relatively quickly, just in autumn when leaves in the water quickly clogged. This is a small drawback, as this is immediately noticed by the pump power of the pond pump from Osaga.
