The steam cleaner Karcher SC 2 is ideally suited for the cleaning of hard floors of all kinds. You can change its equipment in ourcomparison table refer and detailed in the following table:
- The water tank 1 liter can take tap water, the power is 1500 watts . After 6.5 minutes, the water is as much heated that the steam with 3.2 bar steam pressure coming from the nozzles.
- On the main unit are found the safety lock for pouring water, an indicator light to show the heating and holders for accessories and floor nozzle.
- The selector switch for the steam volume (with child protection) and the steam lever can be found easily accessible housed on the handle. That is also a steam gun or extension tubes for the floor nozzle are connected.

The Kärcher SC 2 is the successor to the steam cleaner Karcher SC 1020, which the

Even at the most simple to use steam cleaner has not changed:
- At the beginning it unscrews the safety lock and then fills a normal tap water. Who wants to save energy and heating time, of course, takes already warmed water. - Switched on , the steam cleaner by plugging the power cord into an electrical outlet. So there is no additional On / Off switch!

Here is carefully provided as with all Kärcher devices:
- The selector switch on the handle for the amount of steam has a position for child safety . In defected position no steam is released when operating the steam lever.
- The boiler is equipped with a safety lock provided that the pressure relief valve opens automatically when too much pressure.
- Finally, the pressure regulator could turn, registers the pressure. Also in this case there is a solution: a safety thermostat measures the temperature of the device and switches it off when it overheats.
To avoid lime deposits, it is recommended that distilled water for filling to use.
For all cases of Kärcher steam cleaner Entkalkersticks are included.
As this steam cleaner
no 2-chamber system has, you have to wait for replenishment of the water at first, until the boiler has cooled down and the safety lock can be opened.
