For the bedroom we were looking for a new Radiowecker, we were recommended the Philips AJB3552 12 Radiowecker. On the basis of this recommendation, we have also opted for this model. How it works can be found here in this report.

As already mentioned, the Philips AJB3552 12 Radiowecker was recommended. We have therefore not been looking for long, but rather have followed this recommendation. We were convinced by the performance data, but also by the numerous adjustment possibilities.

The Philips AJB3552 12 Radiowecker is made of plastic. It is equipped with a large LCD display and three rotary knobs. These rotary knobs allow you to adjust the various settings, such as the radio transmitter. The Radiowecker is a digital radio, accordingly it is equipped with DAB + and FM digital. The Philips AJB3552 12 Radiowecker comes in a size of 17,2 x 6,3 x 9,2 cm, with a weight of 658 grams. In color it is held in a black color. Philips Radiowecker comes with a user manual and an AC-DC adapter.  

Operation from Philips AJB3552 12 Radiowecker

The operation of the Philips AJB3552 12 Radiowecker is very simple. As far as the technical details are concerned, it has already been mentioned that the Radiowecker is equipped with three control knobs. By means of these control knobs, you can adjust any setting, radio transmitter, alarm time or the time with a few hand movements. It convinces with user friendliness. As a very good we feel the automatic recognition of the light conditions and the corresponding lighting from the display. Very good are also the adjustment possibilities, then one can record with the Radiowecker also the received Radioprogramm. It is also possible to set when, for example, the radio program switches off. Other functions that can be used with the Radiowecker are, for example, the personal wake-up sound. Here you can adjust any favorite song you have. But you can also set this one with the radio program wakes. The processing of the Philips AJB3552 12 Radiowecker convinces one also with the maintenance. If there is a bit of dust on the radio screen or the LCD screen is dirty, you can clean it well with a cloth.  

Handling of the Radiowecker

The dimensions of the Philips AJB3552 12 Radiowecker with 17,2 x 6,3 x 9,2 cm have already been mentioned. These dimensions are not unimportant in the question of handling. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the Radiowecker does not take up much space, for example on the night table.  

Reception from Philips Radiowecker

In the use of the Philips AJB3552 12 Radiowecker we have unfortunately also a deficiency can make out. This deficiency affects reception. We unfortunately had to find again and again that it was with the use of the radio to disturbances at the reception. This is annoying, of course, if you want to listen to the radio. We have not been able to find out what these disturbances are from reception.
